FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
In what states do you practice?
I am licensed to see clients located in Texas, Illinois and West Virginia. I offer telehealth/virtual appointments for clients in all three states and offer in-person appointments from my Fort Worth, Texas office.
What insurance do you take?
For individual sessions for clients in:
TX: Aetna, Oscar, Oxford, United and Optum insurance, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (virtual network), Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (virtual network), Quest Behavioral Health
IL: Aetna, Oscar, Oxford, United and Optum insurance, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (virtual network)
WV: Aetna, Oscar, Oxford, United and Optum insurance, Quest Behavioral Health, The Health Plan
I am able to provide superbills for reimbursement request from all other carriers (please refer to your individual plan to determine reimbursement eligibility).
For Couples/Family sessions: I do not accept insurance or provide superbills for couples or family therapy. I am happy to discuss any related questions you may have.
Do you offer faith-based therapy?
No. My approach to our work is entirely secular. Clients are never discouraged from self-incorporation of their own faith, independently and at their discretion, in therapy.
What is your Private Pay fee (without insurance)?
An initial 30 minute consultation will be conducted free of charge before a first session is scheduled. This will allow you to give me a brief overview of what you’re looking for and help us decide if we are well-matched for working together.
$175/session for individual sessions (~55 mins), and $215/session for couples. Cancelation of a scheduled appointment with less than 24 hours prior notice will result in a full-fee charge for that appointment if you are unable to reschedule in an available slot within the same calendar week.
Do you offer sliding-scale fee options?
All sliding scale availability is full at this time. I will update the website as these slots open back up.
How often will I have appointments with you?
Each treatment plan is unique. Frequency will be a discussion focused on your best interests and clinical indication. In most cases, I recommend weekly appointments until progressive momentum is established, at which time we can discuss decreasing frequency of sessions.
What is your favorite food?
Chicken nuggets. Or cheese pizza. Thank you for asking.
